I obtained my first degree in 1991 in translation at
European Institute for Translators and Interpreters in Perugia,
Italy.
I pursued my second degree in 2006 in Science of Linguistic Mediation
at the University Institute of Linguistic Mediation in Perugia
, Italy.

Work status
I have gained professional qualifications in translating many
publication formats.
As business foreign correspondent for an Italian society I experienced
with commercial translations.
I have worked 3 years as journalist freelance in a magazine gaining
experience in the field of social problems, politics and culture.
From 2001 to 2006 I have been worked as advisor at the
Faculty of Medicine of the University of Perugia (Italy) offering a complete range of
services. Among my assignments have been:
1. Reviewing of scientific articles published in journals such as Blood,
Nature, Science, and so on, obtaining acknowledgments.
2. Editing and translation of book chapters, reviews and scientific
articles.
3. Conducting follow-up reviews and translation of national and international projects for
scientific research.
4. Proofreading: books, scientific articles, documents,
degree thesis, post doctoral thesis.
5. European projects in scientific research
(VI and VII Framework Programme).
From June 2007 to December 2008 I have
been on the staff of a Cultural Institution. Among my assignments have
been:
Fund raising activity, management of EU
culture projects and procedure, translation and press release records,
keeping correspondence with theatres and foreign culture institutions,
organizing activity.
During my career I have gained expertise in European Community Politics
and Funding, dedicating myself to the analysis of funding tools to support
research and development (R&D), and the spreading of knowledge between the European
countries.
